Orangeburg woman involved in accident; telephone tip leads to arrest of Yonkers man.

An Orangeburg woman and a Yonkers man were charged with drunken driving in separate incidents in Clarkstown on Friday, according to town police.

— Laura Nolan, 45, of Orangeburg, was involved in an accident at 12:10 a.m. on Congers Road in Congers. Police said no one was injured in the accident.

Police said town officers investigating the accident had Nolan perform a field sobriety test and then she was taken to police headquarters in New City for a chemical breath test for alcohol. Police said Nolan failed both tests and was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. Nolan was later released pending a Feb. 20 hearing in Clarkstown Town Court in New City.
