David Chase Movie Shot in Pearl River Premieres

Mamaroneck High School student Jack Belisle shared his report from the world premiere of David Chase's new movie "Not Fade Away" at the New York Film Festival Saturday night.

Mamaroneck High School sophomore and videographer Jack Belisle participates in a video production class that broadcasts the school news.

He and clasmate Joann DiBuono took their reporting skills to the red carpet at the New York Film Festival Saturday for the premiere of the David Chase movie Not Fade Away, part of which was shot in Pearl River. DiBuono did the stand up and voice over.

Not Fade Away did not even have a title yet when Chase, creater of The Sopranos, did his shooting in Pearl River in February of 2011, taking over parts of Main Street and some residential areas nearby. For more on the shoot, check out this article on Patch.  

The film marked the first time Chase since The Sopranos ended that Chase worked with its star, James Gandolfini, who plays a supporting role in Not Fade Away.
