And for Mothers we have lost to eternity... The pain of loss often lingers, pulling on the veryRead More fibers of our souls. We have only to weave a new cloth of acceptance. Yes, the warp and weft of life's loom calls for our enduring love and strength. May each Mother embraced within Heaven's Light be ever in the Presence of our love.

86%? All at the same time? No way. Society would break down because everyone knows "if MamaRead More ain't happy, ain't no one happy."

I was curious about the survey that said that 86% of mothers feel unappreciated. The only survey IRead More could find, by the Institute of American values, said that 48% of mothers feel appreciated most or all of the time. I only found a summary, but it seems possible that only 14% feel appreciated all the time - the vast majority have times when we feel unappreciated. Anyway, I liked the fact that this article emphasized things that you don't have to buy - I ended up finding a survey that the thing that most mothers appreciate on mother's day is having their kids make breakfast for them, or clean for them - something they normally have to do.
