Counting Orangetown Votes, Chamber of Commerce Party

  1. Six absentee ballots from Orangetown will be counted in a meeting 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Board of Elections in New City, bringing the Orangetown Supervisor election closer to a resolution. Find out more here
  2. The United Hospice of Rockland Annual Tree of Life Lighting ceremony begins at 7:30 p.m. on level one of the Palisades Center Mall near Banana Republic. Find out more here
  3. Skies will be mostly sunny, but it will remain cold, with a projected high temperature of 34 degrees. 
  4. The Pearl River wrestling team will compete with Tappan Zee, Mamaroneck and host Harrison in a Sectuion 1 Duals quad meet at Harrison which had been postponed Tuesday. Read more here
  5. The Pearl River Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual holiday celebration at 7 p.m. in the private party room in T.F. Noonan's at 16 E. Central Ave. in Pearl River. Cost is $40 for all you can eat and drink. RSVP tosecretary@pearlriverny.org.
