1. The Orangetown Council could adopt a 2014 budget as early as tonight, though the board has until Nov. 19. There is a public hearing scheduled for 8:10 p.m. Tuesday as part of a regular town board meeting that starts at 7:30 p.m. in Orangetown Town Hall.
2) The Pearl River Board of Education meets at 7:30 p.m. in the district administration building on Crooked Hill Road.
3. Weather: The National Weather Service says the overnight rain mixed with snow will end, leaving the afternoon clear and cold. The high may hit 40.
