Orangetown Patriots Fundraiser, Election Court Case

1) The Orangetown Patriots will hold a fundraiser for their two cheer squads that qualified for nationals 7 p.m. tonight at T.F. Noonan's. Find out more here

2) The two candidates for Orangetown Supervisor, incumbent Democrat Andy Stewart and Republican challenger Walter Wettje, will be in court today for a hearing regarding ballots in a race that is still unresolved three weeks after election day. Read more here

3) The Rockland County Legislature will hold a series of committee meetings, including a joint session of the Planning and Public Works with Budget and Finance at 7:10 p.m. at 11 New Hempstead Road in New City. The Budget & Finance Committee will meet again to discuss salary reduction proposals for county executive and county clerk for 2014. 

4) Winter Storm Boreas is coming. The high forecast calls for a high temperature of only 40 degrees and rain that will start getting heavy tonight with the potential for flooding. 

5) The Pearl River School District Board of Education meets 7:30 p.m. tonight in the district administration building on Crooked Hill Road in Pearl River. The meeting agenda is available here
