Pearl River School Board Meets in Preparation for Start of Classes

Each day, Patch provides the nuts and bolts of local happenings with our five-bullet local dispatch. 

1) The Pearl River Board of Education meets 7:30 p.m. tonight in the district administration building on Crooked Hill Road. It is the last meeting before school starts Sept. 9. 

2) The Hudson Valley Chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America Lemonade Stand will be set up from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sign of the Times on Main Street in Nyack. To find out more, go to this report on Patch. 

3) Tuesday brings a threat of showers before 7 a.m. and possible isolated showers after 4 p.m., but skies should be sunny most of the day with a high temperature around 86 degrees.
