Dear Neighbors,
I put out a call for help building a snowman on the lawn of Town Hall and about 25 people showed up -- check out this Patch.com article about the activity, with some great pictures.
I promised to publicize photos anybody would send in showing their snow sculpture activity, and received a few real nice, heart-warming ones.
I encourage town residents to post your photos of snow sculptures here, too, as a way of celebrating the joys of childhood and the natural world, even in the face of the inconveniences and costs of dealing with storms, which rightly preoccupy us as parents, business owners and government officials.
Kudos to our highway dept and parks department for making the cleanup of a foot of wet snow look easy!
