Pearl River Girls Making a Difference

As a follow up to October 26th “Make a Difference Day 2013,” Pearl River youth continues to take action to make a positive impact. This was most recently demonstrated during a hat-a-thon they hosted at the Pearl River Public Library this past Saturday, 12/7. The girls continue to make and collect handmade hats which they plan to then donate to local hospitals and People to People. To date, the girls have made 180+ hats! They have established goals and key milestones. Their next key milestone is to hand deliver baby hats to Nyack Hospital’s Maternity and Pediatrics this month, during the holidays. If you are interested in making and donating hats so that the girls can include them in their delivery, please contact the local Pearl River girls who are making a difference at Crafting4aCauseUSA@gmail.com
