Timology - It’s Spring Again

It’s Spring again, and you know what time it is?  It‘s time for the next big diet!  What will it be this year?  The Alien Diet, The No Carb, The No Protein Diet or The Grapefruit Diet (sorry that was in the 80's)?  You do get where I’m going with this.

Research has shown that over 90% of all diets in America fail.  That’s an amazing percentage, especially when there are over 350 million Americans.  My advice is that we as country should stop dieting.  Dieting is short term fix to a long term problem.  However, can you live that way for the rest of your life?  Probably not!  My suggestion is to make your health a lifestyle change.  Lifestyle changes aren’t easy, but it is your best shot at lasting weight loss, and staying healthy.  Did you know that there is a higher percentage of people who change their lifestyle then those who maintain a diet?  Nothing is worse than a 90% failure rate.  Instead of dieting, try eating less and also eating smarter.  Nutritious foods have value and are loaded with vitamins and minerals that aid the body in growth and function.  The best way to change *you* this spring is to change what you do.

If life didn’t have storms, there would be no need for an umbrella.
