Center for Safety & Change Promotes Pollock

The Center for Safety & Change named Kiera Pollock as its new Deputy Executive Director of Programs and Clinical Services.

The Center for Safety & Change announced the promotion of Kiera Pollock to Deputy Executive Director of Programs and Clinical Services Wednesday. 

Pollock will oversee special victims programs, including the Lynn Sheinkin Department for Educationa dn Social Change, and clinical programs in her new role with the center, formerly known as the Rockland Family Shelter.

"Kiera has been a key part of the agency's direct services to survivors of sexul and domestic violence for several years, providing administrative vision and leadership, counseling, advocacy and support to our clients," said Carolyn Fish, executive director of the Center for Safety & Change. "In 2001, Kiera joined the agency as an advocate and quickly rose to supervisory, management and director positions. It gives me great pleasure to promote her to this very important position."

Pollock currently serves on the Sex Offender Management Task Force, Child Advocacy Center Steering Committee and the STOP F.E.A.R. Coalition Delta Project. The Rockland Economic Development Council gave her a "40 Under 40" Award in 2005.
