Chamber Expects Biggest Pearl River Day Crowd Yet

The Pearl River Day Festival will feature the largest number of sponsors and vendors in its history when the seventh annual event lines Central Avenue and John Street in Pearl River Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Pearl River Day features shopping, food, music, demonstrations, pumpkin painting, bouncy attractions and live entertainment, all organized by the Pearl River Chamber of Commerce.

"Pearl River Day continues to grow every year," said Pearl River Day Committee Chair Michelle Worob. "We have more vendors and sponsors than ever before and tons of cool entertainment and activities for the kids. The streets will be packed and we cannot wait."

There will be over 100 vendors, including shopping and food, and the live entertainment will be set up on two stages. That will include the Pearl River's Got Talent competition, which is sponsored by Better Homes and Gardens Rand Real Estate this year.
