Del Arte Restaurant in Orangeburg will hold a Wine & Vodka Cocktail Party 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28 in support of Rockland Homes for Heroes and the Brest Buddies.
Rockland County Homes for Heroes, which will provide housing for veterans in need, is moving on from the construction phase to landscaping and furnishing. The Brest Buddies, a group of women who raise money to fight breast cancer, are in training for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in Manhattan this October 19 and 20.
There will be a $10 admission fee and a cash bar that will have only Middle Sister and Promisquos wines and Heroes Vodka. To make a reservation, call Del Arte's at (845) 365-2727.
