1.  ST. AEDAN’S ANNUAL FAMILY BINGO NIGHT
Where/When: St. Aedan’s Church, 23 Reld Drive, between Ehrhardt Rd and Villa Rd/Reld Dr S; Fri. at 7 p.m. in the Parish Hall.
Why Go? Bingo! Everyone leaves with a prize. Plus, pizza, hot dogs, snacks and refreshments will be available for purchase.
Pricing: Tickets will be sold at the door.

2. MUDDY CREEK WINTER CARNIVAL
Where/When: Franklin Ave. Elementary School, located behind the Pearl River Library; Sat., Mar. 5 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Snow date: Sun., Mar. 6.
Why Go: The Muddy Creek Carnival is an annual fundraiser event run by the Franklin Avenue P.T.A. This event is open to the public and offers games and fun for the whole family, including sand art, tattoos, nail painting, refreshments and raffles. Prizes are won at every game.
Pricing: Tickets are $9 and available for purchase at the door.

3. CHILDREN’S FINGERPAINTING CLASS AT GLAZE

Where/When: 
Glaze Art Studio, 34 Orangetown Shopping Center; Fri., Mar. 4 from 5-6:30 p.m.
Why Go: Children, in grades two through eight, will use their own unique fingerprints to make colorful, one-of-a-kind flowers on a plate.

4. CHERISH THE LADIES IN CONCERT
Where/When:
Pearl River High School, 275 E. Central Ave., Pearl River; Sat., Mar. 5 at 8 p.m.
Why Go? Concert to benefit the Breast Buddies Campaign Against Cancer.
Pricing: Tickets are $25 each and on sale at www.ArtsRock.org or call 866.811.4111.

5. COMEDY NIGHT FUNDRAISER
Where/When:
Rockleigh Country Club, 26 Paris Ave., Rockleigh, NJ; Thurs., Mar. 10 from 6:30-10:30 p.m.
Why Go? The Pearl River High School P.T.S.A. invites parents and friends of   bbthe Pearl River School district to enjoy a night of comedy while raising money for scholarships.   
Pricing: Tickets are $60.00 a person each and reservations are required. R.S.V.P. by Mar. 1. Call 845.620.0684.

6. COOKTIVITY’S CREATIVE COOKING CLUB

Where/When:
St. Margaret School, 34 N. Magnolia St., Pearl River; Mon., Mar. 7 for Culinary Arts (grades 4-8) and Wed., Mar. 9 for Little Chefs (grades 1-3); Classes from 2:45 to 4:15 p.m. 
Why Go: This eight-week after-school program shows kids how to make healthy snacks. A two-course meal is made every week that the children can eat there or bring home. At the end of the eight weeks, participants get to bring home their own personal recipe book. 
Pricing: $110 dollars for the 8-week session, which includes the price of food and supplies. Open to St. Margaret School students only. Call 845.721.0447 for more details.

7. LEGO ACADEMY

Where/When:
The Challenger Learning Center, 225 Rt. 59, Airmont; Classes begin Mar. 7, 8  or 9, depending upon the selected program. Class times vary. Call 845.357.3416 for details and sign up information.
Why Go? Two different programs designed primarily for students in grades 1-3 (LEGO Creations and LEGO We-Do Robotics), and one program designed for students in grades 4-8 (LEGO NXT Robotics).  Students are given LEGO kits and taught the fundamentals of engineering, design, robotics and creating computer models.
Pricing: LEGO Creations ($50 for three one-hour sessions); LEGO NXT Robotics ($90 for six 1.5 hour classes) and LEGO We-Do Robotics ($60 for six one-hour classes).

8. MODEL TRAIN RAILROAD EXHIBIT TRAIN SHOW

Where/When:
Pearl River United Methodist Church at the corner of S. John Street and Franklin Ave.; Sat., Mar. 5 from 10-5 p.m. and Sun., Mar. 6 from 12-5 p.m.
Why Go? This is the last weekend for train enthusiasts to enjoy the model train exhibit. Anyone interested in becoming a member of the Bergen County Model Railroad Club is invited to join us at an official meeting on the second Friday of each month at the Hillsdale, New Jersey Train Station, 2nd floor.  
Pricing: Adults: $5; Children: $2
