Orangetown Relay for Life Kickoff Meeting Thursday

Organizers of the 2013 Orangetown Relay for Life are seeking volunteers. There will be a kickoff meeting 7 p.m. Thursday at the Pearl River Public Library.

The 2013 Orangetown Relay for Life is set for June 14 and 15 on the Central Ave. Field in Pearl River, but the kickoff meeting for volunteers is 7 p.m. Thursday at Pearl River Public Library. 

Those interested in helping to organize this year's relay should contact Jen at jennifer.nulle@cancer.org or 845-440-2521.

The American Cancer Society Relay for Life is an overnight event that celebrates survivors and remembers those who have lost their lives to cancer. In addition to raising funds to fight the disease, the relay also helps to raise awareness and provide support.
