Pearl River Library Hosts Blood Drive Tuesday

The New York Blood Center will hold a blood drive at Pearl River Public Library Tuesday from 2:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Rockland County faces a blood shortage after recent weather storms caused either cancellations or low turnouts at blood drives.

The New York Blood Center will hold a blood drive Tuesday from 2:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Pearl River Public Library.

Donors should bring ID with a picture or signature. They can sign up in advance for a particular time slot by calling the library reference desk at 735-4084 extension 115, but appointments are not required.
