Pearl River United Methodist Church To Welcome New Pastor

Pastor Cyndi Stouffer will begin her ministry at the Pearl River United Methodist Church Sunday, July 3, with the 10:45 a.m. service.

Pastor Cyndi Stouffer took over at Pearl River United Methodist Church Friday, with her first service scheduled for 10:45 a.m. Sunday morning.

"God has called all of us to a ministry of God's love," Stouffer said. "I feel blessed to begin this new ministry as the pastor of the Pearl River and Suffern UM congregations and their communities. Growing up as a pastor’s daughter, I realize the great gift of being surrounded by a loving faith community.”

Stouffer, who was also assigned to the Suffern United Methodist Church, will be joined by her husband Steve and sons Sean and Mark. She previously served as Diretor of Worship and Msuic at Cranford United Methodist Church while studying theology at Drew Theological Seminary.
