Pearl River Rotary's Share Christmas & The Holidays

The Rotary Club of Pearl River sponsored the holiday event, now in its 28th year, Friday in Braunsdorf Park.

The Pearl River Rotary held its 28th annual Share Christmas & The Holidays event Friday night at Braunsdorf Park. While it rained most of Friday and well into the night, a crowd of more than 100 gathered at the event, where kids could greet Santa and Mrs. Claus, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Winnie The Pooh, Elmo, Captain America, The Hulk, Rudolph and many more. The rotary also collected new, unwrapped toys to donate to children.

Prior to the arrival of the Claus family, Girl Scouts Troops 40125 and 40231 sang holiday songs accompanied by jazz pianist Louis Landon, who is also a faculty member at the Rockland Conservatory of Music. There was also plenty of hot chocolate and cider to keep guests warm during the rainy night.
