Rockland County's Patch sites for Pearl River, Nyack-Piermont, New City and Nanuet each shared their top stories for 2013 Tuesday.
Today we share the most-viewed stories on all four sites combined.
The fatal boat crash on the Hudson River, the opening of the Shops at Nanuet, Election Day 2013, the explosion at Nyack College, the closure of Congers Elementary School and the Clausland Mountain brush fire were all among the major events in Rockland County and all made the list, but the most-viewed post on the list was the closure of Hadeler's Hardware in Pearl River.
