On Saturday October 6, 2012 from 10:00am to 5:00pm the Pearl River Chamber of Commerce will host the 6th Annual “Pearl River Day” Festival. A rain date of Sunday October 7 has been planned. The purpose of this fun filled event is to promote our downtown by showcasing the wonderful retail shops, restaurants, and other businesses in Pearl River.
Central Avenue will be closed from John Street to Main Street. William Street will be closed between Franklin Ave and East Washington Ave. The day will be filled with numerous events and activities including food, music, entertainment, demonstrations, shopping specials, face painting, pumpkin painting, balloon twisting, bouncy attractions, and more.
All proceeds from this event will benefit the Pearl River Chamber of Commerce and its beautification fund, which supports the improvement of the downtown district as well as provides funds for holiday lights and seasonal decorations.
