The Pearl River Park & Activities Committee presents the annual Fourth of July Fireworks display on the Central Avenue Field in Pearl River.
Gates open at 5:45 p.m. The Rockland County Concert Band will play from 7 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. with fireworks scheduled for approximately 9:45 p.m. There will also be rides for children.
The Pearl River Park & Activitiy Committee will give out awards from 8 to 8:30 p.m. The 2012 Al Carpentieri Community Service Award will go to Ennio Munno, Sr., who organized the fireworks beginning in 1979 and passed away last year.
The music and fireworks show are free.
