Shen Yun Performing Arts

This presentation will center around the classical Chinese dance and music company, Shen Yun Performing Arts, and will explain how it uses the medium of dance to display Chinese civilization and various aspects of Chinese culture.  Specific topics include story-based dances and how they present great classics of Chinese literature (such as Journey to the West or Outlaws of the Marsh) and tales of ancient or modern heroism (like the story of Mulan).
