The Rockland County Choral Society presents A German Requiem and other Masterpieces by Johannes Brahms, including excerpts of the Liebeslieder Waltzes

The Rockland County Choral Society is pleased to once again be working with accompanist Michael Fennelly as they present Brahms’ own arrangement of Ein Deutsches Requiem, Opus 45 for piano four-hands and other masterpieces including excerpts from the Liebeslider Waltzes. Audiences may recall Mr. Fennelley’s performance of Rhapsody in Blue during the Spring 2011 concert. This concert also features Baritone, Richard Zuch, who performed with the Choral Society in the 2010 production of Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy. Soprano, Korliss Ueker, makes her debut with the Choral Society for this concert. Uecker has sung over 150 performances at the Metropolitan Opera including Susanna in the Marriage of Figaro (international radio broadcast), Marzelline in Fidelio, Oscar in A Masked Ball, and Valencienne in The Merry Widow.
