Heritage Quilters Host Exhibition at Pearl River Library

Heritage Quilters of the Hudson Palisades will celebrate National Quilting day with an exhibition at Pearl River Public Library Saturday and Sunday.

The Heritage Quilters of the Hudson Palisades will do more than show off finished products during their exhibition Saturday and Sunday at the Pearl River Public Library.

The Heritage Quilters will also put on quilting demonstrations and offer hands-on activities in addition to putting their own quilts on display for the two-day event, which runs from 11 a.m to 4:30 p.m Saturday and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday in the library's community room.

Quilts will also be on display from a challenge contest in small quilts were made with various idioms, such as "Don't let the grasss grow under your feet." There will be viewer's choice voting for the best of the challenge quilts, with prizes awarded at the group's next meeting April 16.
