Family Fun Day at Chance Cosgrove Memorial Golf Outing
Deal: Enjoy a day of golf at the beautiful Rockland Country Club in
Sparkill, NY. The cost to participate in this event, with proceeds going to the Chance Cosgrove Foundation (chancecosgrove.org), is $250 per golfer ($175 for golfers age 12 and under). Price includes entry into all events, 18 holes of golf, riding cart, lunch, gift package for each player, banquet dinner and various awards. Families are welcome to participate in this event ($25 per person). Rockland Country Club’s Olympic-sized pool will be open during the day (all children must be supervised by a parent or guardian). BBQ lunch starts at noon. While the golfers hit the links, family can soak in the sun and music by the pool. There is also a Dinner Only option available at the Club for non-golfers: $100 per adult (open bar included) and $45 per young adult. Kids can order an a la carte dinner for $20.

Orangetown Movie Night
Deal: Family Movie Night returns to Veteran’s Memorial Park. A giant 20x40 foot movie screen and video projection system will turn the park into a "drive-in" theater. Residents are invited to bring lawn chairs, blankets and picnic baskets to enjoy a summer evening in front of the big screen. The evening begins with a free concert by The Uncle Brothers at 6:30 p.m. followed by a magic show performed by Tommy Knucklehead at 8:00 p.m. The movie, “Dolphin Tale,” begins at 8:45 p.m.
