Have fun at the Batting Cages, Mommy & Me Classes and Soccer Camp

We're all watching our family budgets these days. This column lists great local deals each week that will help your family's bottom line, and since we do the scouting for you, it will help you save time as well as money.


Deal: Beth Am Temple, located at 60 East Madison Avenue in
Pearl River, will host its fourth annual tag sale. Proceeds from the tag sale of donated and gently used items will benefit the Temple.

Orangetown Batting Cages
Deal: The Orangetown Batting Cages at 82 Hunt Road is open 7 days a week: Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Weekends: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Pricing: $2 a round (12 pitches); Get seven rounds for $10;
16 rounds for $20.

Deal: From July 14 to August 18, Mommy and Me
interactive play classes for toddlers, ages 1 to 2½ years old, will be held at Dance Central in Pearl River. Classes take place from 9:45 – 10:30 a.m. Pre-registration required.
