Pearl River Chamber of Commerce President Kevin Hardy joined other local businessmen in supporting State Senator David Carlucci as he announced a five-part plan to create more jobs Thursday.
"I'm sure the reason Senator Carlucci invited me is to remind eveyone that we have Pearl River Day going on Saturday and everybody should come," Hardy joked before moving on to more serious comments about the issue.
Consider it one more part of the Pearl River Chamber of Commerce's efforts to promote its annual event celebrating Pearl River and promoting its businesses. To read more about Pearl River Day 2012, check out this Patch article.
Pearl River Patch will do more than bring you pictures and stories from Pearl River Day, which is set for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday on Central Avenue.
Patch will be part of the event this year, setting up among the large group of sponsors and vendors to answer questions, take suggestions and connect with the community. Be sure to stop by and talk about the community, different ways to use Patch or just to say hello.
