Pascack Valley Line Train Delayed Up to An Hour

The New Jersey Transit Authority is showing delays of up to an hour for Pascack Valley Line Train #1607, which serves Nanuet and Pearl River, due to congestion this morning related to Tuesday's derailment.

Tuesday's derailment and disrupted service led to congestion on New Jersey Transit lines Wednesday morning.

As of 11 a.m., only one train in the Pascack Valley Line was showing delays. Train 1607, which serves Nanuet and Pearl River, is running up to an hour behind due to this morning's congestion. A representative at the New Jersey Transit information office said she was unable to project if the delays would be rectified by this afternoon's commute.

New Jersey also warned of larger crowds than normal in its trains today. Updates on alerts and advisories can be found on the New Jersey Transit website here.
