Partners at Pearl River Firm Earn Top Financial Advisor Honors

New City native Thomas M. Mingone and his senior partner, Donna Nadler, of Capital Management Group earned national honors for 2011.

Managing Partner Thomas M. Mingone moved to Central Avenue in Pearl River in 2009. 

Mingone's work in 2011 earned him national recgonition as he was named the top financial profesional in the United States for AXA Advisors.

Capital Management Group senior partner Donna Nadler was named the top female financial preofessional. Mingone and Nadler were honored at an awards ceremony March 8 in Buenos Aires.

"While I am honored to be the leading finanical professional, it means more to me what the honor represents," Mignone said. "My primary focus has always been on ensuring the bedst possible service to my clients. This honor is entirely a result fo the trust and confidence they place in us by both staying with us as well as by referring their families and friends."

Mignone and Nadler led AXA Advisors in sales of investments, annuities and insurance products as part of their financial planning services. Mignone said it is important to help clients find investments that work well together.

"Most of our clients come to us through referrals," Mignone said.

Mignone's company holds financial management courses and seminars at local schools as well as monthly lunch meetings with existing clients.

"The more you know and understand about this whole environment, the better consumer and planner you will be," Mignone said.

Mignone grew up in New City and attended Clarkstown South High School. He founded the Capital Management Group in 1990 in Nyack. In addition to the Pearl River location, they have an office in New York City as well as a satellite office in Stamford, CT. The company serves approximately 3,000 clients. 

Mignone is a supporter of Hudson VAlley Make a Wish, the Multiple Sclerosis Association and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. He sponsores scholarships for lessons at the Rockland Conservatory of Music, also located in Pearl River.
