Rockland St. Patrick's Day Parade Brings Bus Detours

Transport of Rockland bus routes 92 and 93 will be detoured Sunday, March 17 due to the Rockland County St. Patrick's Day Parade in Pearl River.

Transport of Rockland will detour bus routes 92 and 93 Sunday to avoid the route of the Rockland County St. Patrick's Day Parade through Pearl River and the related road closures.

TOR #92 normally follows Orangeburg Road, goes through Pearl River before moving on to Red Schoolhouse Road in Spring Valley. It will detour from Orangeburg Road to South Blue Road into Montvale, NJ, then pick up its normal route at Red Schoolhouse Road in Chestnut Ridge.

TOR#93 will end services at the intersection of Route 59 and S. Middletown Road in Nanuet. It normally follows S. Middletown Road into Pearl River.

TOR is encouraging those attending the parade to use other bus routes to train stations in Spring Valley or Nanuet, then take the NJ Trasit Pascack Valley Line train to Pearl River. TOR bus schedules can be found at www.rocklandbus.com. Train schedules are available at www.njtransit.com.
