Weekend Happenings: Carnival, Concert and Fireworks

It's Thursday, and you have no idea what you'll do for the weekend.

  • Where/When:  Lake Rd & N Harrison Ave, Congers, Thursday through Sunday at 6 p.m to 11 p.m (Thurs. and Fri.) and 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. (Sat. and Sun.).
  • Why go: Rides, games, food and fireworks on Sunday
  • Pricing: Free to enter

  • Where/When: Franklin Street Park, Sunday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. 
  • Why go: Get outside and relax with some music under the stars
  • Pricing: Free

3. Pre-July 4th Celebration

  • Where/When: RCC on Sunday starting at 5:30 p.m.
  • Why go:  Rain or shine, there will be fun, music and games, Fourth of July style Fireworks at 9:30 p.m. or  on Monday if it rains.

4. Fireworks Spectacular

  • Where/When: Bear Mountain State Park on Saturday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. (fireworks at 9 p.m.)
  • Why go: Bouncy castle, DJ and fun
  • Pricing: $8 per car

5. Orange County Antique Fair and Flea Market

  • Where/When: Orange County Fairgrounds in Middletown, Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
