Pearl River: Will You Close Early Due to the Snow?

Pearl River Public Library remained closed for the day due to the snow that started falling in the morning and is expected to cause hazardous conditions before it stops Saturday afternoon.

Many local businesses opened in the morning and are now trying to figure out when to close up as more snow approaches.

According to New City Patch Editor Robin Traum, ShopRite of Pearl River was not overwhelmingly busy and was still well stocked late Friday morning. 

Michelle Worob of Luigi O'Grady's in Pearl River said she may close early, but the early dismissals from school led to a rush of customers Friday morning.

Jane Carroll said she expects to keep Jane on Main open until 6 p.m. as long as there are customers and the snow doesn't get too deep.
