Homework Help is a successful library program matching up teen volunteers and younger school children, grades K-5, to help with homework.

Every Wednesday from March 7 through June 6, teen volunteers will be available from 4 p.m. 6 p.m. in the story time room at the Pearl River Public Library. No homework assignment is too big or too small.

Even if it is just to get away from the digital distractions at home, the Pearl River Public Library is a great place to bring the kids to make sure they focus on their assignments. No registration is required. Just bring your homework!

Homework Help has needed help finding a home. This program originally began on Monday afternoons. The staff at the library is working with parents in this community to come up with the best day that the most kids in Pearl River will benefit.

The time and day has now changed to Wednesday afternoons from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Parents of Pearl River, if there is an alternate day and time that would be better for you let us know. Just call 735-4084 ext. 129

An issues conference will be a wast of time and money. So many ' issues ' have been pulled out ofRead More thin air. The people who organized against the plant will just keep saying the same thing. No amount of info will be enough, no answer will be accepted. The issues conference will be a circus of endless questions, ideas, and demands. Haverstraw bay reclassified as drinking water will better protect it, provide an endless supply of water and finally help end the stereotype of the Hudson being polluted Recommend
