Pearl River Woman Named to O&R Post

Kate Wysokowski of Pearl River is Orange and Rockland Utilities’ (O&R) newest Public Affairs Manager.

Wysokowski, 41, will serve as O&R’s main contact for the Towns of Clarkstown, Haverstraw and Stony Point as well as the Villages of Haverstraw, West Haverstraw, Upper Nyack, Nyack, South Nyack, Grand View and Piermont.

Wysokowski previously worked in the non-profit sector and in education as a special needs teacher at Jawonio in New City, as Director of Work/Family and Development for Child Care Resources of Rockland and as an Assistant Administrator in the Impartial Hearing Office for the New York City Board of Education.

She has a master’s degree in public administration from Marist College and in early childhood and early childhood special education from the College of New Rochelle. Her bachelor’s degree is from St. Francis College in Brooklyn. Wysokowski has two sons, Adam and Jack, with her husband Michael.
