Share Your Photos: New York City St. Patrick's Day Parade

Pearl River gets its time to shine Sunday, but many local residents will attend the St. Patrick's Day Parade in New York City Saturday. Be sure to share your pictures from the parade on Patch.

The New York City St. Patrick's Day Parade normally marches its way through the city March 17, but when that date falls on a Sunday as it does this year, it is pushed up to the March 16.

The parade, which traces its roots back to 1762, will begin at 44th Street 11 a.m. Saturday and end at around 4:30 p.m. at 86th Street. Many residents of Pearl River and the rest of Rockland County will be there as participants and observers. That includes Chris Cawley, the Rockland County Ancient Order of Hibernians Aid to the NYC Grand Marshal

Those that go can share their experiences by uploading pictures and video directly to this post Patch or by email to ryan.buncher@patch.com.
