Helping Students to Overcome a Legacy of Underachievement.


Through the presentation of actual cases, learn how school counselor's can work as change-agents for students and families to address problems of student underachievement and lack of access to higher education.


Presented by Marissa Giujarro, M.S.Ed., professor with the School Counsling Program at LIU Hudson ar Rockland. Professor Giujarro is also a school counselor at Suffern High School. She is the former presient of the Westchester, Putham, Rockland Counseling Association and is currenlty a state delegate to the annual assembly of the National Association for College Admissons Counseling.
