SOUTHSIDE JOHNNY AND THE ASBURY JUKES CELEBRATE NEW LIVE CD RELEASE WITH SHOW IN
ARDSLEY, NEW YORK


New Jersey’s own Southside Johnny and the Asbury
Jukes
are celebrating the release of their new live CD MEN
WITHOUT WOMEN: Live 7-2-11
, which was recently released on Leroy Records. The celebration continues with their live performance at Life, The Place To Be at 2 Lawrence Street in Ardsley, NY on Friday, January 11th at 8pm.



MEN WITHOUT WOMEN: Live 7-2-11 was recorded live on July 2nd, 2011 at the Stone Pony Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes performance with Little Steven Van Zandt.


The CD features live versions of the songs from the Little Steven and the Disciples
of Soul
1994 album of the same name, along with three Asbury Jukes bonus tracks……. This Time it’s for Real, Broke Down Piece of Man and It’s Been a Long Time.


MEN WITHOUT WOMEN: Live 7-2-11, produced by John Lyon, Jeff Kazee and Joe Prinzo will also be available starting next week on iTunes, Amazon, at www.southsidejohnny.com  and at Asbury Jukes live shows.


With a decades-long successful career, Southside
Johnny and the Asbury Jukes
delivered
their soul-searing brand of raucous blues and R&B, recorded over 30 albums and became known for huge
hits like “I Don't Want To Go Home”, “Love On The Wrong Side Of Town”, “The Fever”, “This Time It's For Real” and “Got To Get You Off My Mind”.


Recently, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes
released the critically-acclaimed Pills
and Ammo
CD.


While the Jukes are currently touring in various parts of the country, the band is also recording brand new tracks for their next full length studio CD, set for a 2012 release.


Joining Southside Johnny Lyon on tour this year are Jukes collaborator/musical director Jeff Kazee on Hammond B3 organ and piano, Glenn Alexander on guitar, John Conte on bass, drummer Tom Seguso,
trombonist/guitarist Neal "The Dude" Pawley, Chris Anderson on trumpet and John Isley on saxophone.
