Save The Animals Rescue Team II 9th Annual Tricky Tray

Save the Animals Rescue Team II (S.T.A.R.T. II) of Bergen County has

announced that its 9th annual Tricky Tray Fundraiser will be held on Thursday,

April 3rd, 2014 at the Rockleigh Country Club in Rockleigh, NJ. This event is

the primary fundraising activity for rescue group, and attracts between 400 -

500 attendees each year.

"S.T.A.R.T. II's

rescue efforts in Northern New Jersey and Rockland County help save the lives

of over 500 dogs and cats each year," explains President Marge Kayne.

"100% of the monies raised from our annual event help offset the cost of

medical expenses and food for the animals in our care, and enable us to

continue the important work we do to make a difference in our community."

About S.T.A.R.T. II

Established in 1989, S.T.A.R.T. II is a

501 (c) 3, no-kill humane organization dedicated to the rescue of homeless and

abandoned cats and dogs. These victims of abuse, desperate situations and pet

overpopulation are rescued, provided veterinary care, clean living conditions,

exercise, and socialization. Our staff of volunteers is dedicated to making

these animals feel safe and wanted, while striving to gain maximum exposure

with potential adopters to find them permanent loving homes. We educate the

public on the importance of spaying/neutering, vaccinations, preventative

medications, and proper living conditions for their new and existing pets. We

also trap, neuter and release as many free roaming cats as we can in order to

reduce the stray population. This lifesaving work is critical for these

unfortunate animals, whose only crime was to be born unwanted. For more

information about our lifesaving activities or to volunteer, visit www.startii.org.
