Billy Kayser was a 16-year-old Pearl River High School student who died tragically on April 3, 2003. Billy was an extremely popular member of the community and a talented athlete who was slated to be starting first baseman on his school’s varsity team. Billy held many characteristics that attributed to his love of life, sports and people that made him so popular among his friends, teammates, teachers and coaches. His foundation was formed shortly after his passing to promote and develop these same qualities and characteristics within the community’s youth. The foundation will award annual grants and/or scholarships to students and athletes that demonstrate the same qualities that Billy’s short life exemplified.
