Gerry Nevins Foundation 7th Annual Pig Roast

The Gerry Nevins Foundation honors the life of Gerry Nevins, a firefighter who lost his life in the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The non-profit organization is run by volunteers, so all funds raised go to widows and widowers in Rockland and Orange Counties who recently lost their spouse.

The pig roast will be held in German Masonic Park in Tappan from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event will be catered by Loughran's Restaurant. The admission includes food, soda, juice, water and coffee. Beer and wine will be available for $3 extra.

Events include volleyball, horseshoes, bocce ball, crafts, face painting and raffles.
