Help Bag Hunger at ShopRite of Pearl River

On Wednesday, September 19, 2012, the ShopRite of Pearl River will be hosting a “Help Bag Hunger” event.  Please join us for one hour to bag groceries and be a force in the fight against hunger as a part of ShopRite Partners In Caring Day.

Throughout the day, cashiers will be collecting donations to help fill the shelves of local community food banks. Volunteers' bagging efforts will help ShopRite raise awareness of those who go hungry and need our help.

September is National Hunger Action Month when organizations and businesses across the country will be doing their part to help fight hunger in their communities.  Among these is the ShopRite Partners In Caring program, ShopRite’s year-round, community based hunger fighting initiative.
