The Orangetown Relay for Life, now in its third year, honors people whose lives have been touched by cancer and raises funds to aid the American Cancer Society's efforts fight the disease.
The walk is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Friday June 15 at the Central Avenue Field in Pearl River and continues until 7 a.m. Saturday, June 16.
The event includes a walk for survivors, lighting candles to remember survivors and those who have been lost to cancer.
