RESTORATIVE YOGA For The Penguin Plunge
Restorative Yoga relieves fatigue and stress, promotes well-being, brings healing balance into your life. This event is limited to 25 participants. Participants are asked to bring a blanket and mat to the class. Please call to reserve your space.
The Penguin Plunge is a Not-For-Profit dedicated to helping families of seriously-ill children. This year's recipients are Alex Fernandez and Francesco Galvano.

An outgoing 4th grader at Valley Cottage Elementary School, Alex Fernandez had sharp headaches. Exhaustive testing revealed that Alex had an extremely rare type of mixed-cell brain tumor. Alex needs specialized radiation treatment.
Francesco Galvano, a 7th grader from Pearl River Middle School, developed some unusual bruisning. This summer, the middle school athlete was diagnosed with leukemia, Francesco is undergoing aggressive treatment.

The 5th Annual Penguin Plunge's signature Event occurs on March 4, 2012 12:00-2:00pm at Memorial Park 53 Piermont Ave., Nyack, NY. The plunge will occur at 1:45pm. There will be entertainment like the Strongman, Clowns, Rock Band Blarney Stew, Guinness World Book Record Holder Fastest Talker Fran Capo, Singers Mike & Sammy Quinn, MC/DJ Jimmy Schutz Raffles and hot food with warm hearts.
With a $20 donation at the Penguin Plunge, an eligible prize is a special event T-Shirt. With a $100 donation, an eligible prize is a Raffle Entry-Drawing.
Take the plunge and get your sponsorship papers or just have fun watching the Penguin Plungers jump into the Hudson River.
