On hand to sing the national anthem will local teen singer sensation, Tyler Miller, as well an opportunity to meet several team members of the Rockland Boulders and their team mascot, Boulder Bird.

This will be the second summer for Sunrise Day Camp – Pearl River, where hundreds of children will continue to enjoy the healing power a fun summer camp experience. Sunrise Day Camps are the only full summer dedicated day camps in the nation for children with cancer, ages 3 ½ - 16 and their siblings.

The camp serves children from Manhattan, the Bronx, Westchester and Rockland County, Southern Connecticut, and Northern New Jersey.

Every day these families deal with the tremendous financial and emotional burdens of medical costs related to cancer treatments and hospitalizations. In order not add to that burden, Sunrise is offered completely free of charge. It is only through the generosity of others, and events like SunriseWALKS, that we can make certain no child is turned away.

Let’s make every step count!
