Orangetown Cleans Up Today

The Orangetown Republican Committee and Keep Rockland Beautiful will both hold community cleanups this morning.

Keep Rockland Beautiful cleaned up all over Rockland County with community cleanups last weekend.

Volunteers will be out in Orangetown again this morning with cleanups at two more locations.

The Orangetown Republican Committee will meet at the corner of Chief Bill Harris Way and Veteran's Memorial Highway, a spot the group has adopted, at 9 a.m. today.

There is a Keep Rockland Beautiful Cleanup in Blauvelt from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. today, though people may begin gathering at the Blauvelt Firehouse at 548 Western Highway at 9 a.m. Free trash bags will be available and there will be a barbecue at the fire house at noon. 

The Blauvelt cleanup is hosted by the Blauvelt Lions Club, Tappan Zee High School Leos Club, Blauvelt Fire Department and the Town of Orangetown.
