BuddyBall Basketball began its season Sunday morning at Pearl River High School.
BuddyBall, a subsidiary of Orangetown Mighty Midgets Soccer, matches developmentally disabled children with non-disabled "buddies" in a variety of sports activities. BuddyBall offers soccer in the fall, basketball in the winter and track in the spring. Read more about the program or register here.
BuddyBall basketball will also be held Jan. 19, Jan. 26, Feb. 2, Feb. 9, Feb. 23 and March 2. There is a $50 registration feel. New volunteers to be buddies can start any time. No pre-registration required.
