Chamber of Commerce Replacing Pearl River Welcome Signs

The signs welcoming people to Pearl River are getting a new look.

The Pearl River Chamber of Commerce is replacing the signs, a job they expect to have completed by the end of the week. The work is being paid for from the Pearl River Chamber of Commerce Beautification Fund, which primarily comes from proceeds of Pearl River Day.

Green Vision Landscaping, Keystone Landscaping, Second Nature Lawn Care and Van Houten Farms will be donating new designs for the locations of the signs and maintaining them.

"The chamber is happy to be able to replace the signs and work with landscapers on this beautification project," Chamber President Matt Reid said. "This project was conceived by some chamber members and residents that felt they needed an upgrade. We appreciate the insight and interest and look forward to our next project."

The signs being replaced are at on Middletown Road near Route 304, in front of CVS Pharmacy at the corner of Central Avenue and Middletown Road, on Veteran's Parkway, in Braunsdorf Park and West Washington Avenue.
