Pearl River School District PTAs are working with I Donate Goods to accept used clothing, linen, stuffed animals and other toys in a two-day clothing drive Friday and Saturday at Pearl River High School's Pirate Cove.
Drop off times are from 2 p.m to 6 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
Acceptable items include clothing, shoes, belts, handbags, linens, blankets, sheets, stuffed animals and hard toys. Furniture, mattresses, appliances and carpeting will not be accepted. Items should be in good shape and clean. Organizers ask that items be placed in tied plastic bags.
The Pearl River PTAs receive 16 cents per pound of items donated and a $100 bonus for every 5,000 pounds. Funds raised go to support PTA and school programs.
