Pearl River Elementary Schools' Fundraiser Set for Nov. 7

Friday, Nov. 1 is the final day to buy tickets at the reduced $50 cost.

Pearl River's three elementary schools pooled their efforts to create the ELF Harvest Extravaganza, a fundraiser Thursday, Nov. 7 from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at the Hilton Pearl River.

The money raised will be split among the PTA groups from Franklin Avenue Elementary, Lincoln Avenue Elementary and Evans Park Elementary to help fund programs for those three schools. The event includes dinner, music and raffle prizes, many of which are donations by businesses in and around Pearl River.

Today is the deadline to purchase advance tickets for $50. The deadline was pushed back from Oct. 31. The price goes up to $75 after Nov. 1. Tickets can be purchased by cash, check or credit card. To pay by credit card, email Lincoln Avenue PTA Co-President Erin Keane at erinkeane@gmail.com.

For more information or to make a donation, contact Evans Park PTA President Allison McKenna at (845) 641-5269 or mckenna6@optonline.net.

Pearl River Superintendent Dr. John Morgano, Franklin Ave. Principal Maureen Alaimo, Lincoln Ave. Principal Kathleenann Cool and Evans Park Principal Peggy Lynch and many of the Pearl River School District's teachers are among the 300 people already set to attend.
