Pearl River Girls Take Part in 'Make a Difference Day'

Find out how you can help in a holiday effort to donate baby-sized hats to a local hospital.

A group of Pearl River girls is looking to make a positive impact in the community.

The group, according to a press release, took part in Make a Difference Day 2013 by collecting and making hats to donate to local hospitals and People to People.

"The girls built upon the idea that they can truly make a difference by working together," the statement said. "They have established goals and key milestones. Their next key milestone is to hand deliver baby hats to Nyack Hospital’s Maternity and Pediatrics during the holidays."

If you are interested in making and donating hats so that the girls can include them in their delivery, please contact the local Pearl River girls who are making a difference at Crafting4aCauseUSA@gmail.com.
